Would like to see Fayne in for Tallinder, and when are they going to give Harrold some playing time?

I was thinking the opposite, Caps look weak right now. I feel good about the Devils lines with the sole exception of Barch of course, but even he has done his job alright

Granted we've only played 16 games, but Barch is the best enforcer we have had in a while. That really doesn't say much when we've had Peters, Boulton, Janssen, Leblond recently, but he's not a liability.

I don't think Tallinder is usually this bad, as he wasn't at the start of the season and I want to say its just rust. That said, Fayne's best is still better than Tallinder's best.

I say it not so much because of Tallinder, but because JJ, while we hope he scores, is actually a really strong 2-way forward as well. I don't know about Loktionov on that front. Given that our penalty kill has taken a big hit these last two or three games, we see the value of having JJ and Fayne out there for those roles.

The play that led to the goal was equally on Matteau for an unnecessarily hard pass to the point.

On the goal, he looked like a fool, I won't deny that.

Devils are in a bit of a free-fall mode. Havent played a decent game since the back-to-back with the Pens.

Caps are possibly the worst team in the NHL, outscored 22-11 in the 2nd period...yet here we are.

This team is just in an offensive lull, and their defense has been very un-Devil like this season. Lazy, stupid penalties, constantly turning the puck over.

Tallinder has been dreadful.

DOOMED?!

Time for some line juggling maybe?

EDIT: I think that's Zidlicky's billionth stupid penalty this season. What's his deal? He's like a glorified Marc-Andre Bergeron.
